Slow Cooked Ribs

  • 4 pounds pork baby back ribs
  • salt and pepper garlic powder and onion powder to taste
  • 1 cups ketchup
  • 1 cup chili sauce
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 dash hot sauce

  • brown the ribs in the oven @ 400 for 15 minutes per side, cut them into half racks and place them in the slow cooker
  • In a separate bowl mix all the other ingredients and pour over ribs making sure to coat all the meat.
  • cook on low for about 6 hours

 We served the ribs with roasted potatoes and Parmesan roasted asparagus and a nice caprese absolute favorite for summer time
